This week starts the very exciting countdown towards the final judging stage of one the most prestigious food and drinks events of the year.
Our newest “mouth watering” product which is the brain child off Mr Will Taylor himself and expertly crafted by our production manager Alex has been shortlisted as a finalist in this years Blas na hEierann Irish Food Awards.
We at Glastry Farm Ice-Cream are so very proud to even be considered a finalist and are humbled by the fantastic feed back that we have already received regardless off the fact that we took a Gold award home for our 2018 new product of the year with our Lemon Meringue Ice-Cream last year.
With our product on the way to Dingle town County Kerry today we would like to wish any and all participants a safe journey to the event this weekend, especially those heading down from the Ards & North Down area. Proof that local food and drink producers from Northern Ireland have some fantastic products, some of which may be awarded the very best in their respective categories, on the island of Ireland.
